Speaker to Discuss Iran’s Nuclear Program in Vassar
Fox News, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity and a plethora of other commentators and news publishers are claiming:

Iran is building a nuclear weapon.

Iran would attack Israel with a nuclear bomb if it got a chance.

Iran is governed by Islamic extremists and therefore it only respects force.

Iran is breaking international laws by enriching uranium.
These allegations are being used for a pretext to use conventional warheads on Iran's nuclear facilities. Some of the top U.S. strategists point out this could initiate a much wider conflict. This would likely not be another Iraq. It could be much worse because of the possible involvement of Iran's allies, China and Russia.
Speaker Gordon Dye of Warren, is an independent who was not involved in politics until he became a volunteer for the 2012 Ron Paul campaign. Dye has researched the topic of Iran’s nuclear in depth.
Dye will discuss his thoughts on how the mainstream media is misleading the American people concerning Iran, providing documentation and sources so you can confirm or disprove the truthfulness of these statements.
According to Mr. Dye, U.S. power brokers have been misrepresenting the salient facts concerning Iran's nuclear program and the willingness of Iran to establish diplomatic relations with it's neighbors, including Israel. For religious reasons and otherwise, Israel is a friend of the United States. Since Israel is a small country in a sea of Islamic nations, the security of Israel is of great concern to the United States. By removing Sadam we have now brought Iraq and Iran together. Not the smartest thing militarily that we ever did.
Detail will be provided concerning the structure of Iran's government, current tensions, Iran's rhetoric, and inaccurate U.S. rhetoric. The President of Iran reports to a governing body which reports to the Supreme Leader. This is most significant concerning President Ahmadinejad's rhetoric.
Each of us has a personal responsibility in this matter. War is extreme and causes extreme pain. When we vote for officials that make war based on information we know is false, we become morally responsible for our part in the death and destruction of that war. So please take this seriously.
