Western Thumb Tea Party Group A non-partisan citizen action network.

VASSAR — Stacy Swimp, a dynamic and inspirational national speaker will be featured at the next Western Thumb Tea Party meeting.  The event is scheduled for Thursday, March 1, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Vassar Public Library, 520 W Huron Avenue.  His message for the program is "Freedom and Progress:  Where Do We Go From Here?" 

Stacy M. Swimp is the president of the Frederick Douglass Society — a public policy and education institution that advocates for the freedom for all Americans to work and learn. Additionally, he is a spokesman for the Michigan Freedom to Work Coalition.

Swimp is also the host of "Contagious Transformation," a weekly conservative political commentary program on internet radio.

Contagious Transformation espouses the belief that our great nation is in need of a restoration of American values. Values which place God, country and family back in the center of our lives. This can be accomplished only if we are resolutely committed to breaking the chains that are often shackled around our minds, separating us along class, ethnic, and even political party lines.
